Top 10 Hottest College Cultural Festivals in India


Few months ago, we at had started a poll on our facebook page, and in no time it went REALLY viral. The poll where we asked all the engineering college folks about which according to them was the hottest cultural festival in India, reached 1.3 Lakh people and got over 15,000 responses.  Today, we are announcing the results of this poll and the Top 10  cultural fests in India popular among engineering students. The winner seemed unanimous but there was a lot of competition for the rest. So, congratulations to all the colleges for being in our Top 10 list. Here is the final list of Top 10 Hottest College Cultural Festival in India.

10. Rendezvous, IIT Delhi
Rendezvous is the Annual cultural festival of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. It is a four day long event held at the end of October every year. It draws a footfall of about 30,000 from more than 300 colleges across the country. Started in 1976 by a bunch of enthusiastic IITians, now in its 37th edition, it has become the largest festival of its kind in Northern India.
9. Waves, BITS Goa
Waves is the annual national cultural festival hosted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani – KK Birla Goa Campus. Waves, is one of the biggest college festivals in the Goa-Mumbai region. Several events spanning across- Dance, Drama, Music, Literary, Quiz, Fine Arts along with the Big 4 Events like Natyanjali, Fash P, Mr. & Ms. Waves and Searock are organized during this three day cultural extravaganza.
8. Ragam, NIT Calicut
Ragam is the annual inter-college fest conducted by the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. Ragam blends a series of fine-arts, socio-cultural and literary events, along with a variety of workshops, exhibitions and informal events. The fest attracts thousands of visitors to the campus annually, and is one of the biggest cultural fests in India.
7. Antaragni, IIT Kanpur
Antaragni ‘The Fire Within’ is the annual inter-collegiate cultural festival of IIT Kanpur, held in the month of October, and is one of the popular college festivals in India. The name of the festival was changed from Culfest to Antaragni in 1993. It lasts for four days and attracts participation from a lot of colleges in India.
